Ice Cream

Thought I'd try uploading to Superdeluxe since they're local.

The sound is a bit better than most Youtube videos, but the lighting and static visuals aren't a match for Superdeluxe's professional standards. Plus it's just a bit, not an acted sketch or anything special. The model was Woody Allen talking directly to the camera in Annie Hall. I suppose it can lend an intimacy to dark subject matter, but seems kind of empty without the long, single-take scenes of several neurotic characters talking. Or even just some hot jazz over the alphabetical credits.

Oh well.

You know, if your model were Benny Hill, you could close with chasing some scantily-clad ladies around in accelerated motion. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

leonard: if I had scantily-clad ladies to chase around I wouldn't be stuck at home making light of mass slaughter.

maryk: thanks for the guffaw. I just need to enunciate clearly and some of this shit can work. A nice prop helps too.
